Home Sweet Home or so I thought?!
I remember telling myself that I was never going to move again unless the house burned down and I had no choice.HAHAHAHA!!! I am now laughing at myself because guess what!?!? We are moving!!!! Oh how I despise moving. No, the house didn't burn down. Some things have happened and it is just better for our family to leave the house we are in. Don't get me wrong, the house we are in now is beautiful and I love it and the view is like none other. But when things will benefit your family you need to do whats best for them. This new house is even more beautiful and it's what we want. It is a rambler for Todds knees and it faces west! ( more snow melt) The backyard it very spacious which is perfect for us so we can have our pool! Right now they are finishing up the tile work and getting ready to put in our huge cement patio! The carpet and granite comes next. We are planning on moving in the first week of July. But there is a down side to all this happiness. I HAVE TO PACK!!!! I don't enjoy boxing up all my stuff. I try to do some each day having arguments with myself saying can I pack this or am I going to need it?? Guess when it comes down to it, it all has to go! I don't have any pictures right now but I will try and take some this coming week. Until then I hear a box calling my name.

Can we stop now?
Time is just flying by and I don't know where it is going? I'd like to find it and ask it to please slow down. I can't believe that it is already almost march (one more day to be exact). Todd has been gone a lot lately and that has been pretty hard. But we knew it was going to by like that so we just keep going. Someone told me the other day that we had 10 more months until Christmas. HOLY COW!! That is just nuts! I need my summer first. If you stop and think about it that is really not that far off. So until further notice I am not going to think about it! :) School is more than half way over and summer activities will begin soon. Sing ups for Baseball and swimming, aquatic center and Lagoon. I think we should add another day to the week. One day things might settle down and then I won't have to ask Can we stop now? :)
Hugs and Kisses!

Is that Sunshine I see??
One of the best things that can turn a bad day good is pure SUNSHINE! I know it's only January and everyone keeps telling me to not get excited, but how can you not? Most of the snow is melted and to me that means it needs to be SPRING!
I love the look of blue sky and how the sun feels on your skin. If all my family didn't live here in Utah I would move some place that was warm 365 days a year! Now if only I could convince all my family to move with me! :)

Some Witches

We went to Breakfast with a Witch at Gardner Village in October with some friends. It was so much fun. It was nice being able to just hang out with Caitlin and have some mom daughter time. The breakfast was buffet style and the food was great. The witches came around and talked with you gave you their autographs, sang songs and all sorts of fun stuff. After breakfast we decided to walk around the village and have a good time. Caitlin being 10 just wanted to go off with Kaiti and do their own thing. Watching her walk away made me realize how much she is growing up. She's not the little girl who wants to hold mom's hand anymore. She is becoming more and more independent and becoming her own person. I'm still glad that she wants to spend time with mom and hasn't decided I'm the worse parent in the world. :o)

Turning 9

WOW! I can't believe that my baby is now 9. The time has flown by and I don't know what has happened. These 9 years with Tanner have been amazing! He is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He is a mommas boy and I'm ok with that. Even being 9 he still wants his hugs and kisses from mom and he's not embarrassed to give them in front of his friends. Speaking of friends, this kid has tons of them. You can ask any 3rd grader at the school if they know who Tanner clark is and they will tell you yes. He loves to play and have a good time.
This year for his Birthday we took a trip up to the cabin. Todd was going to be gone on his actual birthday so we went up the week before. The kids got to ride their 4 wheelers, stay up late and roast marshmallows! We all had a wonderful time and it was nice to get away from cell phones, computers and the noise of the city and be able to relax in piece and quiet. I love that we have the opportunity to get away into the beautiful mountains and that we are able to do it as a family.

Happenings
WOW!! It has been a long time since I posted last. I guess that is how you can tell you are a busy mom!
So what's happened?
Well, school started for my 2 little munchkins (guess I can't really call them little anymore) Caitlin is now in 5th grade and Tanner is in 3rd. I am happy with the teachers they got and the friends that are in their class.
I'm not sure where the summer went? I think I let it pass by my and didn't take enough time to sit back and enjoy it. We did do our yearly family trip to Lava Hot Springs, went to the Roy aquatic Center a few times and hung out with friends. I would have like to have done more exciting things but it's hard when Todd is gone so much.
I think I have some pictures but no promises!
I headed back to work and I LOVE my job! The people I work with are great and so much fun! You can always trust them to make you feel better if you are having a bad day. I am so very blessed to have that job and the friends that come with it!
My life is pretty good and I only see it getting better in the future!

Can I just say.......
WOW!!!! I love this weather!! " Sunshine on my shoulder makes me happy" pretty sure that song was wrote for me! Because it fits me to a T! What is there to complain about? Absolutely nothing! If there was ever a way to put a huge bubble around my house and bottle this sunshine for eternity I would surely do it. Maybe I will have to come up with something, bet I would be $rich$!

Bryce Canyon
We went down to Bryce Canyon a couple of weeks ago for a family reunion, and I have to admit we had a really good time. When the word family reunion comes to mind all I can think of is crazy family members you don't know doing weird and unusual stuff that makes you roll your eyes. But that didn't happen at all. Of course there where people I didn't know and maybe I don't want to know (hahaha) all in all it was a great time. I think Caitlins best moment was at the family auction when there was a guy who looked like Jacob from the Twilight movies. She said "Mom, look at that guy he looks like Jacob! Who is he?" Of course I didn't know and she didn't like that answer. Tanner's favorite moment was anytime he was able to hang with the other boy cousins. Can you just say boys from the ages 8 to 11 are noisy and very crazy! My favorite part was the hike down into Bryce Canyon with Todd and some other family members. It was absolutely beautiful. I would LOVE to go back there again and hike some of the other trails. So, I think this reunion was a big hit with all of us, and the bonus was getting together with family!

Jason
I Wish I Could See You One More Time
Come Walking Through My Door
But, I Know That Is Impossible
I Will Hear Your Voice No More
I Know You Can Feel My Tears
And You Don’t Want Me To Cry
Yet, My Heart Is Broken
Because I Can’t Understand Why
Someone So Precious Had To Die
I Pray That God Will Give Me Strength
And Somehow Get Me Through
As I Struggle With This Heartache
That Was Caused By Losing You
I continue to miss you more and more each day, you were my best friend. I love you and know that I will see you again someday.Today on Memorial Day I think about all the loved ones I have lost and am thankful I had the chance to know them. You all are forever in my heart.

Sunshine
Just wanted to post a little something about Sunshine. Can I just say that it has got to be one of my most favorite things in the whole world. It seems to make everything better. Just being able to walk outside and see the bright blue sky and feel the warmth on your skin makes you smile. I LOVE MR. Sunshine and only wish you could stay around for a very, very long time!

Cooking

If you know me you know that I absolutely 100% LOVE to bake. It makes me so happy to see the finished product and know that I created that. It doesn't really matter what I bake it can be the most easiest cookie to the most extravagant cake or pie. I would love to be able to afford to take a ton of classes and learn even more than I already do. I want to be able to own a little bakery and have every person know that is the place to go for some really good treats! These creations are not perfect but none the less I am still proud of them. But the best is yet to come!

Pine Wood Derby

Tanner had his first Pine Wood Derby race last Wednesday night. He told Todd how he wanted it to look, Todd drew it out and then Grandpa Alan cut it out and had it painted. It turned out great!! Tanner thought it looked Awesome!! A day or so before the race I had a chat with Tanner about it being ok if he doesn't win. That not everybody is going to win and as long as you have fun that is all that matters. He seemed fine with that so I figured we wouldn't have any melt downs if he lost. The night finally came and he was super excited and wanted to go like 3 hours early! We had the grandparents come and watch and I think that made him even more excited. The car had to be no more than 5 oz. We weighed it on our food scale and it said 5.1 oz. Thinking that our scale is probably off we didn't worry about it. Well, we should have worried about it! The scale at the race told us that it was 5.2 oz!! OUCH that is way to heavy so luckily Todd brought his drill. So Todd and Grandpa Alan went to work carving out the bottom. Needless to say the bottom of the car no longer looks pretty. They did 6 races all together and then took the fastest time out of all those races. Tanner came in either 1st or 2nd on every race he did. His face was priceless when he won. He raised his hands above his head and said "YES"! It was super cute. Finally when all 6 races were complete they did there figuring and Tanner ended up in 2nd place! That was fantastic! He was very excited. It was a perfect ending to a not so perfect start with the car being over weight. But all that matters is he had a great time and we were able to spend some time together as a family!

Crazy Family

All us grandkids on the Eggett side decided to try and get all our kids together to do a picture for my grandma so she would have one picture with all the great grandkids in it. Well, what were we thinking?? First off there was to many of us to do it at a studio so we tried to be photographers. Funny thing is none of us are and I don't think we ever will be! I don't think there is any human way possible to get that many kids to look in one direction all at the same time! But if nothing else it gave us a moment to step back and laugh at the crazy and wonderful family we have! As for the picture well,, we are still in the process of getting that done! (maybe)

Thanksgiving
So Thanksgiving has come and gone and once again I am behind in posting things. We had a wonderful time on Thanksgiving at Todd's dad's house. Sally took pictures and I am waiting for her to send them to me so I can post them on here. We had plenty of food and fantastic pies. I think I ate enough to last me a month! I am so glad that my parents were able to come up for dinner and that we could all be together.
I am so thankful for everyone that has come into my life. All those that I have known for 33 years and those that I have only known a couple. You have all made a great impact on not only me but my entire family. I am thankful that we are all healthy and that we have a warm house to live in and food on our table. I think about all those that have it so much worse than I do and it really makes me appreciate everything I have and all the trials I have to go through. I would not trade my life in for anything. Even thou it might me hard I now in the end it will all be worth it.
This time of year is all about family and I know that we the Clark family are extremely thankful for all the loved ones still here with us and all those that have passed. Because some day we will all be together again. So basically what I am trying to say is a BIG HUGE THANK YOU to everyone!

Witches Night out
A sea of witch hats
Caitlin and Brytin
Me!
Mom, Caitlin, Brytin and Me
Just some of the Wacky Witches!Yesterday just the girls went to Witches Night Out at Gardner Village. We left about 2:30 pm and didn't return home till about 11:00.
We all got dressed up in our Witch outfits and fancy hats and spent the day wandering around a sea of witches. The weather was absolutely beautiful. The sun was out and it was about 74 degrees. When night came it was a little chilly but all the people and the crazy music that made you want to dance kept you warm.
It was so nice to have a girls day to just relax and have a Witchy Good Time! I look forward to next year!

My thoughts
So I did realize that I haven't posted anything for a couple of months. It just seems like I never have the time and when I do I never think about doing it. I know, I know that's bad.
But being October that means that the first day of school has come and gone and so has summer. :(
The weather is turning cold and I am NOT excited about it. Tanner had his 8th birthday and we had a great time. I am going to try and get some pics posted this week on all the stuff we have done.
I have started back to work and I absolutely love it!! It is so much fun and I look forward to going everyday (well almost, I don't think I know of anyone that loves there job that much). I enjoy teaching the kids things that will change their lives. It is so much fun to see their smiling faces and their eyes light up when they finally understand. It is very rewarding!
But my promise to you is that I will be better at this blog thing and make it worth your time to read it!! :D
